Meyartha Perry, National Financial Secretary

Meyartha C. Coleman-Perry is the National Financial Secretary of B W Harris Episcopal High School Alumni Association-USA, Inc.

Meyartha is a 1986 graduate of B W Harris Episcopal School. She entered the school in 5th grade and attended through 12th grade (1979 -1986).  Through her years at B W Harris she received many scholastic honors and recognitions, including valedictorian during her  elementary and junior high school years. 

Due to her academic achievements, in 1985, as a 11th Grader, Meyartha was selected by the Ministry of Education on the recommendation of B W Harris' administration to represent Liberia as an American Field Service (AFS) International Student in Germany. After an academic year in Germany, she returned to Liberia to re-join her classmates, sat and passed the West African Examinations (WAEC), which was a criterion for graduation, and graduated from B. W. Harris in 1986. 

Meyartha has previously served the Georgia Chapter as its Financial Consultant and the 2010 Convention Fundraising Committee Chair.  In the National Association, she has served as a member of the Audit Committee and served in the Harris’ Administration as the  National Treasurer, from 2011- 2015. 

In addition to Meyartha’s current role as an executive office of the National Association, she is also actively involved in her local chapter – PennDel, where she is the Acting Treasurer/Financial Secretary.
